Walking In Our Light
Each year, Taxco Theater in Canoga Park hosts a Community Gratitude Procession. In 2025, Walking In Our Light will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Community members were asked to share their light.
These are some of the stories from the Connectopod community.

Jesse and Vanessa walk in the light of their friendship and support of each other.
Connectopod producer Betsy Foldes Meiman worked with them for this video in her role as performing arts instructor at The Therapeutic Living Center for the Blind

First-generation Victoria Benitez interviews her 'mama valorosa' (courageous mother) in Spanish with an English intro. Vicky says interviewing her single mom Norma, gave her a deeper insight into
- and appreciation of- her mom's fighting spirit. A fighting spirit that Vicky has obviously inherited! Just listen to the one-minute intro to her piece! Vicky is a great writer. She took the initiative to record and edit on her own.
Melissa Peruch, producer of "restrictED," a podcast series on eating disorders, their causes and treatments, shares her light with every project she touches. Here, she shares what Connectopod means to her. Walk in the light Melissa share with other by listening to reStricted here

The Arts help us walk in our light as individuals and
