Art and artists remind us that we can have an artist's response to this human experience. Our responses don't have to be "right." We can create because we are human, and that is enough. Creativity is a human right.

Connectopod is excited to host a booth at the 25th Annual Dia de Los Muertos Family Festival in Canoga Park. This will be our third year participating. We have a fun craft for you to make and take! And, this marks the return of our Audio Ofrenda! We invite you to share a story of a loved one, and be featured on Connectopod's streaming platforms. We are so grateful to Steven Lopez at La Public Press for featuring The Chinatown Oral History Project. This was a collaborative project with Chinatown LAPL's Teen Council and Connectopod. The arc of this project was truly inspirational. The teens identified an issue in their community and took action to address it. They went further by creating media pieces to spread awareness about the injustices they observed in their neighborhood. Read the whole story HERE .
